International Scientific Committee (CSI)

The International Scientific Committee (CSI) carries out an advisory function, issuing opinions and ensuring scientific discussion at a national and international level for carrying out the activities envisaged by the implementation of the Minamata Convention.

The CSI is appointed by the Management Committee, on the proposal of the Scientific Director of the CNRM, once the opinion of the Heads of the Operational Units has been acquired, and is made up of experts of international standing in the field of scientific research and technological development, as well as representatives of International bodies and Governmental and Non-governmental Organizations.
